DMARC is fighting food security by operating a network of partner food pantries and mobile food pantry sites in the Des Moines metro area.

DMARC operates one of the only Food Pantry Networks in the country. We are neither entirely a “food bank” nor a “food pantry,” but we help fill the gap between both. We are somewhat unique in the emergency feeding world. The DMARC Food Pantry Network consists of 13 individual partner pantries, multiple mobile food pantry sites, and a home delivery service. DMARC provides a guaranteed supply of food to our partner pantries, free of charge, and operates a centralized intake database.

Our Impact

Despite folks needing more and more frequent help, the DMARC network of pantries has risen to the occasion. Every day, we continue to offer a dignified pantry experience, where one can count on a regular inventory of items and access to healthy foods.
