‘Spring Greens’ Raises Over $100,000 for DMARC

DMARC’s 4th annual signature event, Spring Greens, held May 12th at the Scottish Rite Consistory, raised over $121,000 in support of its mission to meet basic human needs in the greater Des Moines area.

The event celebrated DMARC’s 70th anniversary and was supported through the generosity of corporate and individual supporters and over 200 people who attended, purchased tickets and participated in a live (new) and silent auction. Special thanks to Matt Strawn, DMARC Board member and CEO of the Iowa Lottery who served as the event emcee and Micah Kiel, VP, Community Relations, Social Impact and Sustainability at Wells Fargo, who provided opening comments.

DMARC would like to thank all who helped plan the event including our event chair, Lisa Logan, DMARC Board Member and National Sales Manager and Officer for NCMIC Finance Corporation; Sponsorship committee members Ryan Arnold, Denise Bubeck, Richard Haberkamp, Jordan Hess, Ahmed Ibrahim, Robb Manning, Sheila Nelson, Matt Roberts and Emily Webb; Communications/Marketing efforts led be Kristine Winter and Kristine White and the Performance Marketing team; the auction committee led by Sheila Nelson, with support from Emily Webb, St. Mary’s College Alumnae Club, Michelle Parlett and volunteers from the Corteva Agriscience Food Security Network and Sherylea Downs; Entertainment was planned by Christ Naumann (DMARC Board President); Logistics by Cathy Medina and menu led Ryan Russell.
