Join us Saturday, May 11 in fighting hunger across the metro
Each year, DMARC is fortunate to be selected as the recipient of the local chapter of the National Association of Letter Carrier’s annual food drive – STAMP OUT HUNGER, which will be held on Saturday, May 11th.
DSM metro letter carriers plan to collect thousands of food left at the mailboxes of homeowners, renters and businesses. It is then brought to DMARC (100 Army Post Road) for weighing, sorting and inventory.
Donate nonperishable food items by leaving them at your doorstep on Saturday, May 11.
Donate funds online. Did you know that DMARC can purchase 2x-6x more food than you can at your local grocer by purchasing items in bulk.
Volunteer May 13-17 to help sort and process some of the thousands of donated food from across the DSM Metro. Shifts are available in 2.5-hour time slots, starting at 9am and ending at 8:30pm during our food sorting week (Monday May 13th through Friday May 17th).
